   I love Star Trek, but Voyager is testing my patience. Aside from the Doctor, and to some extent, Kes, the rest of the characters are not that interesting so the preponderance of plots that are purely character-driven don’t have much to go on. Give us more plots that are idea-based, please. Also, the Kazon and Chakotay’s baby are 2 topics that I would gladly never see the series touch upon again. This is like “Thornbirds in Space” or something.

   Let’s get back to science fiction, Voyager. Also, I would think if you’re really going to draw on Native American culture, you could tell some interesting legends or go further into the philosophy or something. So far, the series feels lazy overall. I didn’t actually like it, but episodes like ‘The Thaw” where there’s an attempt to do something more outside the box are where I think the show could most profitably go at this point.
