I made this easy for myself by asking for four episodes. I gave four 1 ratings:

“Conundrum” Which was about what again? Oh yeah, the one that uses a universal memory wipe as an excuse for Riker to sleep with Ro and Troi and play their insecurities against each other.

“Imaginary Friend” For being generally unwatchable.

“The Perfect Mate” The more I thought about this one, the more offended I got. Synopsis: TNG has gender issues again.

“Violations” Oh yes, the rape episode.

These episodes were really bad, but the most disappointing episodes may have been”Redemption II” and “Unification II.” The impulse to want to have a big event episode and create a big cliffhanger does not lend itself well to good second parts, especially when created by a different writer who has to find a way to get out of the corner they’ve been painted into.

Ugh ugh ugh.  Horrible episodes.  Ugh.

Conundrum, Perfect Mate, and Violations… yes, pretty cringe-worthy.

I thought Imaginary Friend was OK, not sickeningly offensive as the others are.  So I think I’d go with “Ethics” to round out my top 4, for making Worf look like a spoiled Klingon man-baby and for treating a complex and sensitive topic with zero nuance or understanding.
