Thursday, Oct. 1: 4.7 — “Reunion”

Monday, Oct. 5: 4.8 — “Future Imperfect”

Thursday, Oct. 8: 4.9 — “Final Mission”

    Why the title best of both worlds? Not sure I understand that.

    Me either… Can’t be a reference from part two, because Piller hadn’t written it by the time part one was broadcast.

    Could it be the Enterprise as the best representative of one civilization going up against the best representative of another?

    We don’t know anything about Borg hierarchy at that point, but the Cube they face is the vanguard of the invasion.

    I saw one theory online that riker got the best of both worlds: captaincy

    and staying on the enterprise. Pretty lame explanation for the title if

    true.

    Could be meant to describe Borg philosophy of assimilation? But then

    should be “best of all worlds”?
