You know, I cannot even answer this one because all of them were pretty bad! I guess I would go with all the q episodes, code of honor, angel one, 11001001, and skin of evil, because they were more memorably bad to me. Ugh.

Oh boy, forgot about The Last Outpost!  I must have blocked it out!  A worth inclusion in a 5 worst list, indeed!

I was feeling pretty generous towards TNG after watching all the documentaries on my first season Blu-ray set. Then I went back through the list of episodes and it all started to come back to me. I got more generous with my pass/fail grades in the second half of the season–I gave passes to episodes like “When the Bough Breaks” and “Home Soil,” which I could not possibly recall without looking back at my reviews–but still gave outright failing grades to 14 out of 25 episodes, including 9 of the first 12. What are the five worst? My picks:

“Code of Honor”–which I think is more misogynist than racist, but it’s a tough call.

“The Last Outpost”–for bungling the ballyhooed roll out of the Ferengi something awful, although there were arresting visuals in this episode.

“Too Short a Season”–this sticks with me as a crapfest for some reason.

“The Neutral Zone”–for wasting opportunities and ultimately being about nothing.

“Angel One”–I seem to recall this one is really sexist, but I can’t really remember it now, which is fine.
