I think we can continue to use G+… I think you can probably still go to MySpace, even. The state of G+ just makes it hard to attract and retain participants.
I can totally see advantages to going to a WordPress site like TheViewscreen.com. The trouble is, designing and maintaining the site would take a bunch of graphical work (especially selecting, importing, and arranging photos) that I’m just not interested in. On G+ I just have to add a link to Memory Alpha or Hulu or Wikipedia and it will automatically import an episode photo from the page. The G+ format also works well for most purposes (whereas Facebook, e.g., would be totally unsuitable).

This makes sense… I love that you have taken on the task of organizing this endeavor, so I’m happy to support whatever format you think is best. I am surprised that G+ is losing subscribers… since it seems like it’s difficult to find another format that offers the same level of convenience and relative anonymity.
