One of the Ullians seems to be behind it. Can they figure out what\u2019s happening in time to stop him?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Thoughts:<\/strong> Well, of course they\u2019re going to figure out what\u2019s happening in time. There\u2019s hardly any suspense on that subject. The main exercise is, how creepy and rapey can they manage to make the episode in the meanwhile? In retrospect, the title of the episode is an apt warning as to its contents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So. How did you like the dream sequences? Me, not much (not to my taste, and rapey). Interesting that Crusher\u2019s dream was about the death of Jack, which they hardly ever refer to. Was Riker\u2019s flashback supposed to be based on a true event, or just a nightmare concocted by Jev? It is a weakness of the episode that it\u2019s impossible to tell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Isn&#8217;t it great the way the male characters had to come save Troi at the end? No, I didn&#8217;t think so either.\u00a0The only other thing worth commenting on is the clothes, but I\u2019m not well qualified for that task.
