Meanwhile, Bashir and O\u2019Brien search for their own Waterloo on the racquetball court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Thoughts:<\/strong> \u201cI&#8217;ve got my country&#8217;s 500th anniversary to plan, my wedding to arrange, my wife to murder and Guilder to frame for it; I&#8217;m swamped.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Well, this is an episode about nothing, and I don\u2019t approve. The \u201crandomness is broken\u201d plot in particular doesn\u2019t work. But there are a few nice things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I like the woman con artist, much better than the male con played by Chris Sarandon. Bashir and O\u2019Brien&#8217;s competition strikes some good notes. Bashir&#8217;s track suit is an inspired piece of costuming. The 109th Rule of Acquisition is a hoot. \u201cDignity and an empty sack is worth the sack.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But keep it up, DS9, and you will try my patience. <em>Seinfeld<\/em> can get away with being about nothing. It doesn&#8217;t become you half as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2 out of 5 new currencies.
