Yay Dara! I think the owners of Star Trek have now officially backed off of the canon issue and now say they accept TAS as canon (my point of view: if “Spock’s Brain” is canon, then they can suck it up and accept TAS). Even back in the day, though, I think Gene Roddenberry and Mike Okuda and people like that were saying that although TAS may not be canon, they still consider “Yesteryear” to be canon because of D.C. Fontana and because it rocks.
